VOD/DVR Devices
I’ve been reading a lot lately about web movie downloads as an option for indie filmmakers to get their films out into the public. The problem is there isn’t much compatibility between distribution outlets such as iTunes, Amazon, Netflix and the hardware such as Tivo, Xbox, etc. They all seem to be proprietary which really sucks for consumers who might not be able to find a film on iTunes but they can find it on Vudu. hmm… what is a filmmaker to do? What is a consumer to do?
